4. Car auto weight

Formulation of the problem of automating the process of weighing trucks.
This paper describes the formulation of the problem of automating the process of motor vehicles static weighing, as well as requirements to the functionality of the equipment and information systems. Based on the information in this document, companies participating in the tender must submit a technical description of the project implementation the following activities and functional requirements along with the commercial offer,.

The general formulation of the problem.
Organization of an automated process of road transport static weighing. Operation of the system should not involve an operator. The equipment supplied and information systems provide features such as:
Organization and control of entry / exit, correct positioning of vehicles on truck scales;
Automatic detection of time weighting and the initiation of the weighing by system. The possibility of initiating weighing by driver if necessary.
The process of photographing and identifying the number plate of the vehicle, as well as videorecording of the weighing process from the entrance to the scales to pulling off;
Ability to print receipts / documents (weight cards) to the driver immediately after the product weighing;
A complete set of tools for integration of the weighing system with ERP systems BAAN, SAP/R3.
Availability of equipment necessary for any driver interface interaction with the system if necessary (for example: protected sealed touch screen, outdoor terminals).

Weighing process must be organized so that cars could stop off on the weight platform in either of two directions. The system must determine which side was made to enter the car on the platform in order to know which side to print the driver`s receipt and photograph the number. The direction of movement is also necessary to ensure that we could use the information later, in order to implement control functions in the system SAP/R3. Next, the system should automatically determine the correct positioning of the vehicle weight on the platform (no partial entry, hanging axis, platform vibration etc.) and, in case of incorrect positioning, inform the driver about errors by means of such control elements as signal lights, barriers, information displays or something similar. The process of entry / exit of a car from the weighing platform is organised with the help of signal lights and gates .
In case of correct positioning the system should automatically produce weighing, photographing and identifying numbers, and record this information in the database. In order to get this data in real-time system, SAP/R3, software weighting system should be able to initiate the appropriate event, such as through the mechanisms of OLE automation. The fact of activation of this event will be a signal to the SAP system that the vehicle had just been weighed the, then the system SAP/R3 must be able to apply to the resulting data of weighing (weight, photo of the number plate, the recognized number, direction of motion) for their post-processing. After data processing system SAP/R3 generate the necessary document and send it to the driver to print.
It is also possible to implement interface to the driver. This interface will be formed in the system SAP/R3 and displayed on the touchscreen in front of the cab (see picture at end of document). It`s necessary to provide installation and connection of these monitors.
After all operations of weighing and printing document to the driver ( weiging card), the system must give permission to leave the platform through a system of signal lights and gates or information displays.

Thus, in the technical project, you should have a detailed description of your offer to provide and implement the required functionality:
The organization of entry / exit vehicles to / from the weighing platform
Verifying the positioning of the vehicle on the platform with the possibility to inform the driver about incorrect / correct position the car.
Determining the direction of entry vehicle to the platform with the ability to transmit this information to the database
Automatic weighing of the product
Automatic recognition and photographying of number plate

and the possibility for the driver, in case of a user-friendly interface, to make weighing himself, excluding the operator of the weighing process, either by giving him only a supervisory or an observing role, when the operator of the STC will perfom weighing by hand, only in case of complex (unusual) situations in weight. The driver will verify independently the identified number of vehicle, contractor who transports by this vehicle, time, date, weight (range) and the correctness of the testimony the weight of the terminal. Equipment is dust-moisture-thermo-protected, to be operated outdoors in summer and winter (-40 є C - +40 є C) in the rain and snow.
Operator workstation APCS "Weighing the flow" is made in the 19 "cabinet with lockable door. PCS system, "Weighing the flow" provides:
- Fault tolerance, including the work without failures in short-term power outages;
- Automated weighing in static vehicles and road trains;
- Issuance of duplicate placard on the Tanker vehicle weight (load), located on the scales and data on the mass of the car in automatic mode at ACS;
- Positioning the car in the dimensions of the GPU scales;
- Automatic zero when you turn on the weights,
- Automatic tracking of zero when the mass gruzopriemnoy platform from precipitation and pollution from vehicles passing on the weights;
- Monitoring and control of the process of weighing,

Summary:
On the static truck scales, all vehicles passing checkpoint will be automatically recorded, as well as their weight will be recorded on only the local database APCS "Weight stream", and broadcast directly to the accounting system sap/r3 1C. In this case it is possible to produce fully weigh in standalone mode, excluding the weight of the operator of the weighing process, leaving him only the functions of supervision and process control software and control system through a "weighted flow" in the event of force majeure. Thus, we have almost completely eliminated the human factors of the weighing process, where: weight, number of vehicle, time is entered automatically and independently adjusts the automatic movement through the TC scales, as well as prohibit / allow all phased cycle of weighing vehicle.
